Also in America - That's just the bill for the actual vehicle used for transport. The EMTs dispatched will each be billing you separately. Expect another bill from the dispatching team. Oh and the Fire dept was on-site so they'll be sending you a bill as well.
@penguins Very much real. It’s a billing service for ambulances, as ambulances are privatized in this county. Bill breakdown matched the insurance claim exactly.

I questioned it because just before your status update I read an article about how there's also a lot of medical fraud now with fake billing. Some are much more believe-able now when they're able to (illegally) access data en masse due to records, bills, etc being digital now.
All good, mate. It sounded completely sketch to me as well until I went through the detail billing. That's part of my exasperation with the whole thing... felt like medical billing crossed over to overnight infomercials.
