I vaguely recall that he's been looking to establish his own brand for a while now post-senn departure, or at least that's what's been passed down the grapevine. This looks intriguing.

I’m (pleasantly?) surprised that I somehow managed to miss any indication that this thing existed and/or was on sale. So kudos to my spam filter setup.

But, I can’t find reviews or opinions from ears I trust. I suppose now all I have left to do is… wait.

Speaking of Sennheiser there's also that "professional" HD490 headphone which I've heard nothing about post-announcement. Eh, not about being first but being the most thorough when it comes to coverage.

We'll see how they shake out. I plan to give them a go when they ship, but the frequency chart looks a little iffy.

apparently the fr response only looks funky if you compare it to diffuse field compensations. if you use 30-degree front-localized compensations, like used for speakers and what the OAE1 is trying to accomplish, it actually looks very close to speaker FR which is great (src: https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/drop-grell-signature-edition.48343/page-4#post-1974550)

I heard them quickly at CanJam NYC, they sounded quite good (show conditions yadda yadda)

It's not great, unfortunately.
