Don't get me wrong. Linears are doubtlessly more smooth. But by structure come with inevitable bottoming out at every stroke (unless super heavy activation force) and lack of tactile bumps in the middle, which deviates from my preference a bit.
Which is the point of a “mechanical” keyboard. But them smooth linears. lol. I with the hobby and sold all my boards after realizing…I hardly use my comp lol
Your last point is critical lol. Joke aside, stroke feeling and sound will be two major dimensions (either eventually comes down to preference), I believe. Often confounded by typing amounts and contexts. Whatever, the hobby is much cheaper than audio haha.. = feels less guilty!
