    Only in audiophile-ville and according to people who spend too much time on the internet. Do the best you can with placement and keep speakers and seat a bit out from the walls if possible. Use furniture, curtains and rugs as part of normal decor to help with absorption, and enjoy. I've never measured my room, and I'm sure there's nulls and whatever, but it still sounds great.
