    I go up to 12, high gain on HD650 but that's mostly cos I'm using the ZX2 as interim DAC while the Bifrost Multibit is elsewhere on active speaker duty

    I wonder if its because the output of the GO450 is higher. I'm using the lower level out, but might still be high.
