Focal Spirit Pro is an amazing deal at that price! The sound ticks a lot of my boxes, probably maybe likely going to pick one up for commutes and school/work.

I still have he FSP, and enjoy it. I bring it traveling, as it can be folded into a small slappa case and doesn’t take much room. Be warned that the high clamping force and small ear openings may disagree with your noggin. Works well on my melon though.

I have a fairly narrow head so I may not have the issue with clamp. I have read issues about headband cracking. One review on a website said his cracked in 5 months and Focal refused to replace. That makes me a bit leery.

Mine haven’t cracked yet, but I do take care to gently place them on my head after being made aware of the weak headband. For $180 they’re a solid value. I would even go so far as to ask massdrop on their policy if the headband does crack.

Caveat, I do have smaller ears (2"x1.5"), so not sure how people with bigger flappers might find the opening on these. Headband issues are news to me, but at least in my recent experience MD is great about helping people out. Also, yeah, forgot to mention the isolation is definitely top-notch, you don't have to crank the volume up to immerse yourself.
