ONLY THREE WEEKS LEFT UNTIL THE GREATEST MEET OF ALL TIME IN THE HEADPHONE COMMUNITY! WOOOOO!

With that out of the way, it has dawned on me that I have an almost 12 hours of flying on an airplane to do for the trip there and back. I am looking for two tracks. The first track should be your go to song for listening and auditioning new gear and the second track should be your absolute favorite song to listen to. If you feel that choosing just one song is absolutely impossible then please give me your top three! Or don't listen to me and post as many tracks as you like, I don't own you and you don't have to listen to me at all!

For the first track I have to pick would be Octopus Has No Friends by Mastodon. One of my favorite tracks but I think that it does really well to accentuate all the frequency ranges and is a very fast paced and busy song.

My second track which is my most favored and loved song has to be Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd. So many emotions just flood my body when I hear it and the memories start take control.

Bonus track: A new favorite of mine has to be off Tycho's new album Epoch. Entitled Source everything about it just speaks to me. It's hard for me to put into words but just give it a listen.

    Tracks in the spoiler below.

I have enjoyed that new Tycho album as well.

One of my go-to songs lately to test headphones or any change in my chain is Beck's Heart is a Drum

My favorite songs change from month to month or so but lately when I've really enjoyed mellowing out to Johann Johannson's album called And in the Endless Pause There Came the Sound of Bees. Especially the tracks
    Escape:

    And track 1 Theme:

I have also been enjoying Jóhannsson's recent album Orphée.

Music has, among other things, been helpful for me in dealing with clinical OCD so I have been gravitating to more calming stuff lately.

Brothers in Arms is just generally impressive. That's another one that I have to track down in vinyl.

I am not very good at evaluating systems however I would choose my all time favorite song as Shipbuilding by Elvis costello(cover of a robert wyatt original). Trumpet special by Chet Baker.
