Mine are scheduled to arrive within the hour. Also on hand: Sony XM4, Beoplay EX, Noble Fokus Pro, and Campfire Orbit. Might be time for a shootout.

Amazon I guess is having the AirPod Pro 2 for sale today for only $199.99. My first Gen AirPod Pros are working OK but I only did the impulse buy because of some people like the warmer sound signature, which is my personal preference.

Out of all my IEMs I use the Pros the most.

I have now swopped over to the Apple ecosystem. Currently using a Qudelix with Dunu SA MKII, because of their excellent isolation and fit. However the convenience of the Airpods is very attractive. How well do this far in regards too wind noise? The Galaxy Buds Pro 2 I had was great but their suspectability to wind noise was very distracting. It seems @Serious that these isolates very well for you and offers as much isolation as your CIEMs?

Pretty well. I used to ride the bike with both the transparency mode and ANC on and it was about as much wind noise as without the IEMs.

As for isolation it's not that simple. ANC isn't the same as passive isolation and there are situations or certain angles where it doesn't work as well as the passive isolation of the CIEMs, but when it works they isolate more than my UERMs.

I also have the Sennheiser SoundProtex Plus and the full block filter isolates more than the CIEMs I would say. But I haven't done a direct comparison yet, so I'm not too sure.

However at the end of the day I don't use my APP2 anymore. The Moondrop Space Travel have completely replaced them for me and I lent the APP2 to my girlfriend.
The ANC and transparency modes are much worse, but I just plain prefer how they sound. In fact in monitor mode I think they're one of the most neutral IEMs I've heard and technically they're more proficient and less artifical sounding than the AirPods.

Thanks for bring the Moondrop Space to my attention. Those seem interesting and great value for money!

One thing I should mention is that wind noise is especially a problem with the Space Travel. So the ANC and transparency modes are useless when there's wind.

Also there's no volume control and mode switching takes longer.
