    I was a little disappointed when I was told it was dead a few months ago, however it did lead me to immediately impulse buy a BW, which turned out to be a fantastic decision.

    Anyone know if Craig ever considered going full on solid state power amp instead of the lower powered headphone solid state amps?

    I'd lo love to see what he would due with large 1,000+ VA toroidal transformers & 20,000+ uF caps.

    The ‘retire’ vote is gaining ground...

    I know this was a long shot but, at least for me, Copperhead would satisfy a yet unfulfilled need - a no compromise, highly resolving TOTL solid state.

    BW is a remarkable amplifier but the indulgence goes to 11. Ragnarok is technically proficient but, from memory, borders on becoming clinical in its presentation, especially when using a neutral-ish DAC.

    What other options are there in the solid state arena for an amplifier with resolution and clarity along with just a touch of the EC ‘holographic’ house sound?

    I applaud your optimism, but given what has been said about Craig’s current workload I just don’t see that happening. ZDT Jr is an established Laconic product endorsed by Craig and bestowed with his knob. Last I heard, CH was still at prototype stage.
