A friend was kind enough to lend me their new lineup. Not sure if anyone here has heard, or has interest in hearing them. I'm listening to the FXA5 right now. First one I grabbed. I like it so far. Build quality seems to be much better than Aurisonics previous IEMS.

Finish is excellent, cable looks the same as previous Aurisonics iems, which I have always despised. I really am impressed with the housing, very smooth, and put together nicely. Seems look good. The connection is interesting, rotates rather nicely, just hoping it's not the typical mmcx connection.

Although the 1PLUS was a standout IEM, my subsequent experience with the Harmony did not fill me with any confidence about the direction Aurisonics was heading in. Would be interesting to listen to one of the Fender IEMs to see if my concerns were well founded or not.

As the resident basshead can you try the FXA2 and compare it to the 7550?, probably going to pick up the sony 7550 if it goes on any sort of sale during black friday.

@Huxleigh I always thought their build quality was suspect. I've owned their asg 2.0 and 2.5, had 3 pairs of the 2.0 and they never felt durable. I smashed one in my car door, so that broke obviously. I've had the nozzles come out to while removing tips.

@Panohm Yes, will do. From what I have heard (from ears I trust), the 7550 has much more bass (taped of course). I will try them tomorrow.

Listened to the FXA6 and the 2. I didn't spend a lot of time with the 2 yet, but it definitely doesn't come close to the bass of the ex800st/7550.

The FXA6 is a very good sounding iem. Very balanced, or at least to me.

Good to know, my 7550 should be coming in on Monday. Thanks

The form factor and design of the fender series seems quite ergonomic though.

Yes, they fit me very well. Much better than the Sony's. I'll keep the Sonys though. Plus, the connections on the Sonys sucks too. My Z5 right ear piece is cutting in n out. Only did approximately 5 cable swaps. It's been about 2 weeks since my last swap and it started acting up 2 days ago. Annoying obviously.

MMCX in most incarnations is pretty terrible, only ones that i've had zero problems with are the Campfire Audio connections.

The old sony screw collar + large pin on the 7550 invokes confidence though. Might have to spend even more on an aftermarket cable for it.

From looking at the specs of the new Fender IEMs, I am assuming they are rebranded versions of the Aurisonics Bravo lineup? If so, how do they compare in sound with the older units with the 14-15mm DD drivers?

Basically that's my understanding. I've only owned the asg 2.0 and 2.5, so I can't say for sure. I do know they don't sound like them at all. I was told the FXA2 is similar to the Kicker I believe.
