I posted this to another thread, but I'm not sure if that really gained any coverage, and I'm hoping a friend here will scoop them up before having to go to that "other" site.

Amorphous transformers. For those of you who like a quick, nimble, and airy sound. I heard through the grapevine that they now cost $500 from Doug due to supply chain issues (though they still might be $300, I'm not really sure...). Anyways, save at least half and get yours for $145 from me, because I like the earthy, bassy sound of nickel. No matter how dark I make my chain I can't seem to enjoy the amorphous...guess I'm just in camp warmpoo.

Saw the title and got all excited, thinking another 3F was on the market. But it's just transformers ...

I have both and use them both. To my ears the difference is pretty subtle and I enjoy both.

I would probably swap them more frequently if it wasn’t such a PITA. But if you’d like a bit more air from your 3f, these will nudge things in that direction.

One last price drop before I post this elsewhere.
