I was unaware of both of these, as most of us probably are with IEM's (because there are 1000 of them and a new one comes out every week it seems). So here is a quick breakdown.

Moondrop Kato - $189

The Kato seems to have extremely similar FR to Blessing 2: Dusk S2, without the need for 5 drivers (4 BA's + 1 DD), all coming from one 10 mm driver. And at about $100 less, which may mean, win win. The DD Kato is DLC (Diamond Like Carbon Composite).

Moondrop Aria - $79

This is a more budget DD IEM. Once again, very similar FR to other Moondrops. Single 10mm DD made of LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer), more known by it's commercial name, Kevlar.

Comparing the two FR's, the Kato has just a bit more air in the upper frequencies above 10k. We all know this is not the whole story, as all of Moondrop's offerings are fabulous value in the lower teir IEM market.

I have been waiting for a singe DD that surpasses Starfield because I feel like Starfield would not best the budget IEM's I already have (iBasso IT-00), although it seems the Aria is more in direct competition with the IT-00 being both at $79.
