Transfering the discussion from the Deals thread to somewhere more appropriate, what you would consider a song/album that is "haunting" to you? Haunting to me corresponds to an overall simple musical arrangement and what feels chalked-full of raw emotion from the singer. Though sometimes it doesn't even have to involve a singer, a certain guitar solo from say John Mayer can really do it too (Gravity Live comes to midn).

My immediate reaction is Jeff Buckley's - Hallelujah. What's yours?

    Another gooder.

And came across this one from a list online. https://www.thetoptens.com/most-hauntingly-beautiful-sad-songs/

In the classical genre the Andante from Dvorak's op.44 could be one example, at 10.45 into the piece.

Another: Brahm's op.117 here with pianist Sokolov, live..

Wow, these are all fantastic! Thank you for all of the new music everyone. I can't post a link to this album because it strangely doesn't exist on Youtube but, if you have Tidal, I highly recommend giving a listen to the album You Are Here by Fred Frith & Hans Koch.

Dang!!! I was just thinking about that track from LOR....I just couldn't place it. It's just eerie with the sweetness of the vocals and the context of the film.
