Years ago I heard the Genelec "multi-media" speakers. They looked just like many cheapo computer speakers, except... they weren't cheap and didn't sound it.

I know, Genelec is not everybody's speaker cup of tea, but I doubt that anyone would deny that something that size sounds far better than it should.
