    Using SB-2000 for my loudspeaker system. Although they are advertised as HT use, they also work well for stereo musics (low distortion and good phase response) particularly for their asking price.
    I also agree that using two subwoofers may work better.

    Subwoofers are a necessarily "evil" sometimes. The best approach for music reproduction is to have full range speakers that extend down to 30Hz -3db or below and avoid subwoofers. Such speakers tend to be big and expensive.

    If you must, and then if you can, get two subs. If you can't, get one. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on how to get the best out of the sub. Subs work best as a sub, < 40Hz.

    HT is a different story.
