That is not entirely true. I am disappointed in myself for not signing up on the .1 tour.

It is kind of quirky for a company that is making new products out of old discontinued DAC chips, running in NOS, with no real path of sustainability, and along with that, using some very oddball tubes, tube rectifiers, tube timers, etc. I find the oddities interesting, but there is not much information. Most of the info has to be passed down from the people in the know, otherwise some will ignore it as some esoteric limited run stuff.

For example, this is the only information on hand about his headphone amplifiers:

I would love to learn more and maybe it is just because the Russian -> US translation is not good. I just wish there was more info on the site to really look at the differences. I had to look up most of the tubes listed in the DAC section.

So please don't fault us for our ignorance and by all means enlighten us.

many people on forums (all forums, not unique to this one) just want to be spoon-fed their purchasing decisions so they can get dopamine hits from swiping their credit cards, without putting any conscious thought into what they are purchasing. I'm not interested in that. you are welcome to spend time doing research like I did. yes, most of the information is not in English. if this is a deterrent, then there is even more reason to look at something else.

 

That thread is mostly about DACs and experiences with multibit and flicking a thumb at delta sigma. Not much information on the other gear.

I don't think anyone is looking for dopamine or being stood fed. What else do you expect when you post a picture of a rack of expensive gear mostly from one kind of obscure company? You're like the like the guy who wears the "t-shirt, that proves you were there, that you heard of them first," and when someone asks about it, "Oh, you wouldn't like 'em."

I am not sure I would own any Abbas, but the more I am learning about them on the ETA Discord makes me more intrigued. He has a pretty wild an unique approach to things and sells DIY boards to finished products on the site, but I am sure the information on some of this stuff could be had over email exchanges and I am sure the owner has better things to do than answer 50 emails from non-customers. I was just trying to give you an open forum to talk about your gear, that's all man.

Ok, ok...I am not trying to draw you out in the open. I am not trying to set a trap. I understand.
