Do we have one here? I searched for tips, but no dedicated thread came up. Figured maybe we could use one considering the impact they have on the sound.

My current list of goto tips are:

    1. Spiral Dots
    2. Spin Fits
    3. Sony silicone
    4. RHA
    5. Sony Hybrids
    6. Generic bi-flange
    7. Generic tri-flange
    8. Westone Star Tips (my favorite too bad they don't fit many IEMS)

    Others mentioned:

    1. Comply (foam)
    2. Auvio (https://www.radioshack.com/products/radioshack-rbasic-silicone-replace-tips-s-m-l?variant=7188729477)

I'm probably missing some. I'd like to add to this list, and maybe share some of the advantages/dis of each tip. I'm only mentioning ones I use. I've tried some others but didn't like.

Hopefully some of you guys add to the list and we can compile some more info on each.

Also, I'm waiting on the return of my Plus 5, once I get that back I'm trying the ML Spiral Dots I just received. They don't fit well with the IEMS I'm using, but I purchased them specifically for the Plus 5. If they don't fit, I have 3 sets that I'll send to whomever wants them, only requirement is make a minimum of $5 donation to SBAF. I'll keep the slightly used pair separate, which I literally used for half a song today and will do the same with the Plus 5. Hardly used, can be cleaned or tossed. I know I feel funny about used tips.

I paid $17 I believe for them. So $5 is a good deal.

    I use Comply Foam Tips regularly for my old Brainwavz B2. Have to admit that I use each pair of those tips for longer than their expected lifespan though;
I won't change them into another set of Comply until one of the pair shows tear or crack... Darn I'm so unhygienic, sorry

Tried the generic tri-flange before but I find wearing those hurt and thus I'm back on using Comply.

I have to try complys again, was never a fan, but it's been a couple of years and I've changed a little.

Is there a good (hopefully cheap) place to buy the Sony hybrids and Sony regulars? There's a lot of fakes on Amazon. I really liked them when I had the xba-a3 but they went when sold.

Otherwise, usually either spin fits, spiral dots, or comply work well for me, depending on earphone

I'm not sure myself. I'll look into it as I like the Sony tips as well. Fortunately for me I've purchased four pairs of the Sony's, so I have quite a few. If you need some, I have plenty that I don't use, I'll send you some. I use the large ones I l believe (blue) or maybe ml.

I haven't tried the spiral dot or spinfit tips.. but to date, the Auvio ear tips are my favorite universal ear tips to date. Didn't give them a whirl on the Andro cause I couldn't fit one of my two tips.. but the one I could test sounded great with it. Wide bore (minimizes "reverse horn" effect) w/ pliable but sturdy silicone material with the perfect thickness. Isolates quite well, too. They're available at Amazon and a few other lesser known eRetailers, as well. Might even be generic versions floating around on the 'bay. S, M, L sizes generally line up most all other tip sizes. Not always the cheapest, but after having gone through an ass load of universal IEMs and tips in the past six years, these are my 'go to' tips, if possible, with any universal I try.

Ortofon/Grado single silicones are my all time favorites. There is more comfortable tip in my experience.

Mee Audio dual flange are my go to tips for all these shallow fitting iems.

Fitting on tips was always a bitch for me, so Comply is usually my go to. Have you guys tried the stock tips for the Aurisonics Rockets? The SureSeal tips are actually pretty decent.

I love the Westone star silicone tips for the few IEMs they fit on. These are what I presently use on my Future Sonics Spectrum G10 (excellent isolation, very good long term comfort, solid bass, easy to take in and out when people want to talk).

For a generic, all-purpose tip, I have a couple packs of the Monster SuperTips. They tend to be one of the first I try for medium and larger barrels.

I hate Comply tips because they become shit after a few weeks of use and they're annoying to use in a work environment where you're interrupted frequently. Too expensive to replace, too.

Earphones Plus makes some reasonable assortments for super cheap. The mushroom tips they make are pretty nice for some IEMs.

I also like some of the MEE Audio tips. Depending on the earphone, the double flange, triple flange, or long single flange can be good.

Sony Hybrids, if you can get them, are quite good if you can find the ones with the foam inside the silicone. The ones without the foam are no better than Auvio.

SpinFits are horrible pieces of junk for my ear canal shape. I've tried every size and zero of them seal.

Spiral Dots generally don't fit me very well either.

Now that I've typed all of this, I just realized I have a bunch of comments on my site as well:

Good, versatile ear tips that also work well for bass (note that in many cases, the smaller the opening, the bassier the tip–the first two on the list are the narrowest):
    • Monster Gel/Foam Supertips – Get the assorted sizes and gel/foam mix–they have spacers too, and will fit just about anything.
    • Sony Hybrids – One of the most recommended and versatile tips. I love them for earphones that isolate well with them.
    • JVC Victor Spiral Dot – One of the most recommended versatile tips.
    • NarMoo S1/Wooduo 2 – Their single flange tips are good for bass. You can get the NarMoo tips from their website.
    • Comply Isolation or Comfort Tips – Ensure a good seal, which helps deliver solid bass. I stopped using these because they need to be replaced frequently.
    • MEElectronics M11+ (extra long single flange and standard bi-flange).
    • Earphones Plus assortment – I like these triple flanges more than most.
    • Auvio Silicone replacement tips – None of them fit me terribly well, but many people like them.

It's conditional on nozzle diameter, but I think the shure olives are teh best. They work with ety's and shures, and can be stretched to fit over others, although the latter option is frustrating to varying degree.

The quality of the foam is nicer (less porous) than comply foam. I get a better seal, and better bass. Also they wash up better and thus tend to last longer.

Yes, their clear dual-flange are what I use on both Andromeda and the ASG-1plus.

Ortofon tips are by far the best I have tried. Wide-ish bore, VERY pliable and soft silicone and provides a great seal without the vacuum-like properties of other tips. Shit's tight yo

I do really want to try the JVC Spiral Dots though

For the comply users, any opinion on the difference between the T and TX series? I know the TX is supposed to have better isolation...how much of a sacrifice is there in terms of comfort?
