Possibly. Why would someone dump all those boards for that price?

Either way, it is a pretty good deal for a good DAC with discrete output. I like the 4490 sound. One could also put in a more decent case.

Seller only has one item shipped so not much of a track record, so do your homework first. It's possible he has feedback elsewhere, making this a good deal.

He posted another ad for selling them individually. I messaged and he sent a list.

 

I'd avoid this, don't think its a good deal. That's an old tester that sells for $100 or less. And when people sell their "whole tube collection" what they usually mean is "I took out all the stuff that sells for over $50 and here's the rest of the stuff I cant be bothered listing".

Maybe if you have a shop where you can resell stuff on to customers.

Well, there is enough JJ 300B, which retail at >US$100, to make me think there might be some value. Lot of Sovtek in boxes about the right size for 6AS7G, which used to be US$20, but now retail a lot more since production stopped.
