I do the same thing often with certain watch listings when I see it's clearly a scam. Really pisses me off when someone lists something that's clearly a scam, but does just enough to get by the filters of the listing site. My wife tells me not to get involved, but I feel some type of obligation to help protect others who might be more trusting.

I did chuckle at this internally because it took a few hours for the mod process to go through (I also reported it) but if you post about SBAF your message gets edited within ~5 minutes. I don't have any ill will toward Head-Fi, I don't know the mods personally, but it just seems silly to me.

PS - The listing says it's also a "conditioner", which is not really true. Just an isolation transformer, and a good one at that, with very low capacitance.

If HFM really are planning to squeeze out another "flagship", there may well be a bunch of V2 on the market from the twitchier denizens of HF, soon, too.

 

There's been a lot of weird amazon hacking and fraud and shit recently. This in the description seems fishy, as a lot of times there's no product and they try to get you to do the transaction outside of the amazon ecosystem. This was discussed a few weeks ago in this thread when I posted an HE-6 deal, with description saying contact via email, and later the seller confirmed they were hacked

That seller does have legit reviews, and does seem to sell electronics tho... but buyer beware

 

I believe thats a common scam due to legit stores getting hacked.
