    Is the price on HD650 decent for Canada? It's really hard to gauge the prices here. HD6XX would have been ~$300 CAD from Massdrop and I feel like the used price shouldn't be more than that, but maybe that's just wishful thinking.

    $250-300 CAD is usually about as good as the deals get here, in my experience.

    I'd wager $300 is more the norm up here, and 350 from a dealer with warranty is good. New prices for Sennheisers in Canada are awful.

    <Canadian screaming at ebay.com intensifies>

    (the joke being that I'd rather drag my balls through a mile of lego than buy anything more than $200 from ebay.com again, and this is a fairly normative experience as a Canadian online shopper)

    Oh man, I got excited for a second when I misread his location as Hosers instead of Hoosiers. They don't show up on this side of the border very often.

    Yes, you'll want some stands if you use them on a desk. They're amazing in a 2-channel system, they're my main speakers. They're not self powered though so you will need an amp, I know a lot of people expect self-powered speakers for desk use.

    Right, thanks. I have my old HE-6 integrated amp right at my desk already so it would be easy to replace the LSR305's. Could put them there or use them off the TV in the family room and move the vinyl rig there... Probably won't grab them but if they're around for a while maybe I'll cave
