        I like it a lot, but I'm a bit of a Yamaha fan boy. Be careful on the voltage, it was either Japan only or mostly. The CA-1010 is far more common...

        Their Rca interconnects are lacking a bit. Other good $30 RCA cables sound a bit better. I think if I had to do it over, I would get some nice 12 gauge twisted type cable from a decent source. I use something from VH Audio, it is his twisted pair stranded 12 gauge with 4 total legs for 9 gauge overall. Kind of overkill but not too expensive and has stood the test of time.

        I need to run some network cable through my house and I might as well set aside a few feet for speaker cabling. Any reason why a Cat 6 version of this cable would be any different? Also I noticed it's a shielded cable, what do you do with the shielding?

        The new Gen 5 board is an upgrade for any Bifrost, Gungnir, or Yggdrasil with the Gen 1, 2, or 3 USB inputs. Just when I thought that it might be common to all three units, I looked at the box mine came in and it is labeled "GEN 5 USB UPGRADE KIT -BIFROST"
