I been watching stuff that I meant to watch for YEARS. Earlier today I watched Ikiru, yesterday I was jerking off to the Zatoichi films. Last week I watched Jackie Chan's Police Story 1 + 2 that Criterion just released in BD. I also like that they will get other films that they didn't produced on their service.....
They gotten A Clockwork Orange and Mad Max (which I saw yesterday). Downside is they rotate them around. That's fine, a good bit of the core Criterion releases are on the streaming service. So meaning to watch 8 1/2 and other classics. However, the important The Archers films are on the service. I never get bored and always have rolling coaster emotions watching the Life and Death of Colonel Blimp
Oh shit @RobS I love how poorly edited Tokyo Drifter is. I got Branded to Kill on my watch list because I been putting that one off forever. Seijun Suzuki is an oddball as a director and I love it. That's a Friday Movie for me. Let the haters hate on TD. Thanks for the recommendations!
Yes, because my PS4 doesn't have the Criterion Channel. If you have Fire Stick/Box and I think Apple TV you can get it. Android TV support too. https://www.criterionchannel.com/ I'm doing the $99.99 per year package.
Ahhah, welcome to the club. I do believe if you just watch five movies from the series that were released by Criterion then you just got your monies worth.
