Not honoring warranty would be *terribly* bad form. Worst case you can ever expect from buying from a non-authorised dealer would be like my situation where I bought my Clear from headphones.com; Focal Canada probably won't honor the warranty, but I'd have to send them to Focal USA.

In speakers space everyone know Focal got the fattest margins, some even comparable to hifi cables margins.

I don't understand those margins at all, it's ridiculous.

 

In retail Audio, I expect 100% markups.

 

Qobuz has summer deals until end of August, some 30-80% on many music downloads. You don’t have to be a streaming customer to buy at their shop.

Did the LP DAC actually drop down to $300? I am see $379 now but it has been dropping fast. Was $509 a couple days ago, then $400 this morning. Have been trying to keep an eye out as I am curious to try the LP stack for the hell of it.

 

@mk801 you were prophetic, the LP DAC is down to $299 now. Time to see if they cooked up anything interesting with that one.
