I have 2 Aegirs was thinking of grabbing a couple of them little horns for shits and giggles. I don't even have time to compare one aegir to 2 Aegirs yet lol. I've had them for months but just listen to em in mono block mode when I actually have time to listen. Then there's headphones as well !!!

A single Gjallarhorn is not even in the ballpark compared to my Pioneer M22, and I doubt a pair would fair much better. The Gjallarhorn has been powered up since yesterday without much change, but I'll check back in a few days. I haven't heard the Aegir.

For me, a big part of the appeal with electronic music is in it's ability to continually throw me something that's alien to me. There are no limits to the possible sounds and combinations. So it can be a bit like going to a country that's the complete opposite of yours. Disorienting and mystifying at the same time. I expect that from it at times.

Epictetus recommended, "Cultivate apathy." But "apathy" is too literal a translation. "Lack of feeling" or "feelinglessness" is more precise. Feelings interfere with one's judgement / reason, which is the basis of freedom.
