It's a good thing you like it here, then!

 

I found out about SBAF from one of the other forums. Since it likely wasn't Head-fi, I'm guessing it was Computer Audiophile. I've seen copies of posts from CA on HF, so I'm guessing they don't have a problem with those.

I still spend time on HF because of the sheer number of threads that cover a wider range of topics. Once the SBAF community grows, I don't see why that couldn't be the case here as well. My main complaint about HF is that there's an awful lot of noise. Reading a 500 post thread becomes pretty tedious to get to the dozen posts that are valuable. I've noticed that most of the people on HF that offer great information are also here or on CA. So the word is getting out that there are alternatives.

 

I basically just visit headfi these days to snark at the people in the HE-6 thread.

Hahaha. DecentLevi is a fragile little flower, and the type of non accountable erm.. lollipops and rainbows environment that HF espouses is perfect for him. Granted this is from one incident where he was sitting next to me at a table once, and I just took a look to see who was next to me. He cringed a bit, and seemed to want to roll up like a rolly poly bug. Maybe he thought I was some evil person from Changstar or something...

I really don't know much about the Talos T50RP mod, so I'm not going to make any comments on that.
But how is that not just a straight advertisement??? Seriously, it is getting way too easy to find stuff like this.

 

Hmm, he brought his TH-X00 to our south bay mini meet a couple months back, and was lukewarm on them. But this does read like a straight sales ad, doesn't it.

I could be. But hardly anyone here could pick me out of a line up. I was more focused on getting my listening in on some equipiment I was interested in purchasing.
