"...A coordinated effort targeting coffee companies nationwide"? That's the theory? Not "pain in the ass retired coffee enthusiast complains to everyone"? As someone who has worked in customer service, this is not mysterious.

Perhaps it's just someone trying to get free coffee, though the author of the storie(s) hints at something more nefarious. The odd part to me is that the entire enterprise, from initial concept to every facet of execution, seems to come from the mind an 8 yr. old. So my guess is it's someone with a developmental disability who really likes coffee. (-:
