Not sure which thread but for some egregious clipping listen to Weezer’s Africa cover, CeeLo’s Bright Lights Bigger City (clipping comes in with the kick drum beats at :17 and then it seems the engineer heard it and it starts to get better)

For less egregious King Crimson’s Live in Vienna but I’ll have to get back to you for specific spots. Can’t remember which songs off the top of my head

Come Away With Me, Norah Jones. She clips the mics. It's brutal.

Checking back in to report I've heard the Weezer Africa cover and Norah Jones's Come Away With Me, the Madonna albums still pending. Holy crap and here I thought Death Magnetic was a fringe case. Then again I love London Grammar and the clipping (some say it's just compression but I kinda doubt that) on their studio work is... tolerable.

It is really terrible when good bands get their sound wrong. The Red Hot Chill Peppers and Audioslave are just two big examples.
