Grew up in Canada. Played hockey for a little over 30 years. Actually some pretty good born and raised Cali hockey players. Probably the best is Austin Mathews.
Using them as spacers between Af and Yggdrasil - books weren't stable enough, old 2x4 scraps were too slippery + uneven. These pucks stank up the ENTIRE room - smell hits right when you walk in even with windows open.
@JK47 - I was going to buy the Czech pucks but cheaped out thinking "they're just spacer blocks". Nope. Wrong.
I will say the Czech-Slovakia pucks were better than the Canadian pucks when I was a youngster. The rubber was a tiny bit softer on the textured sides, making stick handling tricks easier.
Oddly from a cultural perspective I could not find a single Canadian made puck when I looked (not a surprise from a practical, business, and gov perspective).
