Starlett 40% due to being in living room (and GF works in living room), SW51+ 60% due to work I'm in bedroom. Dunno if time to sell, Auteur still good headphone to have around for a near TOTL reference. I guess I like colored shit I guess.

That's completely opposite of me... once I got the Auteurs, use of the HD6xx, HD600, Verum pretty much dropped off to somewhere just north of never. If I'm not listening to the Auteurs, then I have the Eikons because I want closed back.

Weight plays a big role for me. Even with the Co-Pilot pad the Auteur isn't the lightweight camps as the HD6## series.

Happy to see the grados are getting listening time - thought they would work well for some of the genres you listen to :)

It's good to have a "sanity check" headphone. It's why I still have my Sennheiser stuff around (and I also still enjoy them).

This! I do this: every time I get a new headphone, I listen to HD600/HD650M for an album or two before listening to with whatever new shizz is supposed to make my heart stop beating and rainbows shoot out of unicorn anuses.

Problem is the HD6## with good amps is making it really hard to get another TOTL headphone. Which is a good thing.
