Such conflicts really have an impact across globe and everyone gets impacted mostly for worse. For eg in India Crude oil prices will go up and hence will impact every common man in country. I hope we have peaceful end to this conflict.

I doubt the people of Ukraine are quite as sanguine about Russia's actions as you seem to be @bilboda.

What’s frustrating is that if Biden really wanted a huge midterm boost, he could forgive a massive amount of student debt with an executive order. But he’s so thoroughly bought by corporations that he would never, and war also bolsters the interests of his corporate masters.

To be clear, I’m not saying this is only theater. Real war can really break out because of this saber rattling and real people will die. It’s just sickening how this is exacerbated by corporate interests who encourage war.

Russia says they don't want Ukraine in NATO because it is right on their doorstep. If they take over Ukraine, NATO will be right on their doorstep.

One thing not mentioned, sounds selfish at first but doesn't take long to realize the global impact this will have - this little island of "only" 25M makes about 33% of the world's chips and 90%+ of the world's "high tech" chips... modern world with no new chips, computers, etc. = no bueno.
