    Till this day idk why none of those chifies slam dunk the market with a sub $300 R2R DAC. I'm sure it will cost them nothing over there and most people outside of NA can't stomach the shipping and the customs of a Modi Multibit.

    Maybe R2R is actually hard to do well for a low cost? Plus they all have the same business model of getting a review on ASR and competing for the best AmirNAD. Thinking about decapitated pink panthers keeps them up at night.

    SMSL released their R2R DAC a few months ago. It didn’t measure “state of the art” and got slammed by ASR types. I suspect such responses sadly will ensure these companies don’t pursue this much more.
