The more devastating LA car wreck story this week is the lady who drove through a red light at 90mph and killed five people including a pregnant woman, her husband and their child. Reportedly the woman had 13 prior crashes. Somehow none of this is hyperbole.
How much does it take to get a license confiscated? I know over there people are more reliant on vehicles but come on... Cross the line over here and you lose it for 6 months and then you have to pray to get it back at all.
LA doesn't even prosecute petty theft anymore to my knowledge. I had a coworker in Winetka voluntarily pay off his neighbor so they wouldn't rob him. I can understand why Marv left CA.
