And the price is really low, $14/tube. Looking for Voshkod Rockets with a visible logo, even if v faint. These look like they just came out of a factory, but they come from Lithuania, so that's at least a good sign...
There are definitely fake tubes out there. Most of what I've seen is marking one tube with another more desirable mark, for the same tube type. But there are also pretty large lots of NOS tubes in eastern Europe.
Those prices are not uncommon for Vokshods, they look pristine because they look to be made mid 80s - if I had to guess the date code in 87, but this is my guess to their date code.
Go to audiotubes.com, and read Brent Jessee's discussions on his tube pages about forgeries and fakes. He doesn't discuss all possibilities, but goes into detail about the most common ones.
looks like @Slade01 is correct, they are legit Rockets, only the inferior late 80s version. I will out the ones @dasman66 linked to. Those are the more coveted 70s version, right?
I can't say what era the ones I linked are... and I'm not up to speed on the date codes to be able to check the ones that I have. If someone has date code info, then I can look at what I got
if i'm not mistaken—all the tubes i've looked at aren't coded, they have two numbers (for the month, i'm guessing), then the year, so 04 75 for april 1975
