As we say in New York, "Get the f**k outta here!" Said with a friendly chuckle. I might not disagree much were you speaking of Porta Pro / KSC35 drivers with KSC75 clips. (Now, I'm going to have try that with Yaxi pads.) I'd not quarter mod a 75; I've felt no need to 1/4 mod the 35, but who knows? Do tell us about the cable, please. What is it?

@Claritas I do like the ksc35 driver. But the ksc75 driver is the only Koss that competes with TOTL over ears due to the speed of the titanium coating and the sountage of the convex shell in the back.

@Claritas It's just an OFC replacement cable. The stock one died after about 5 years of dialy use :P

@ColdsnapBry I think of those (speed, soundstage) as questions of sonic priorities. My top priority is neutrality. If the FR is screwed up, I don't care *what* it does right. That's the main reason I've never kept a single "TOTL" headphone; and the only reason I don't buy Schiit DACs.

I like the 75’s more than the Portapro. I should mod some with a longer cable.

Porta Pros are fun, but ksc75 are legit comparable to TOTL
