B/V2 same thing - the sculpted/relieved back damping and mods/removal of the fins in the baffle. I've heard a 650 do thunderpants bass and punch, but this is just crazy.

Horses for courses, I too had original JAR650, did some things a little better, but IMHO B/V2 is more "total package" - macrodynamics and lack of grain are standing out

Yep it's an airier headphone for sure, can't have both though . I thought the highs were perfect on OG for my ears and more low end as well.
