I couldn’t sort by brand it was so frustrating. It makes sense now.

Also the audio connexion and parts connexion being dividied and search not pulling from both it seems...such a terrible launch. And the email marketing that is part of whatever platform this is is terrible and obnoxious.

It constantly redirects me to the audio connexion site when I'm looking for parts and the sorting is awful. If anyone did ux on that project they should be publicly shamed medieval style.

I suspect their UX design approach was “here’s what’s intuitive to me”, which always works out really well.

Prices don't even show up until you put something in the cart!

That “bug” reminds me of another dealers site. Thats becoming more and more common dark pattern

I love the pop ups that lock out the other pop ups. FIRE ALL THE POPUPS ON PAGESCROLL!

I figured it out, you must choose a region US or CA for the prices to populate

^ Ha! I didn't spot that because it selected CAN for me on loading, but yeah, if you go and physically select the region button, up come the prices. If you've set your browser to ditch cookies on exit though, gotta do it again on next visit.

When I was working for a large tech distributor, when a change like you describe was deemed borked, the first thing you want to do is roll back to a good stable instance of your site. Otherwise you will kill your installed client base and any future customers.

I haven’t bought anything from them in years, but took a spin. The new site is sooo cheesy. Old one was way better…
