Awesome. I take it you're going for it. I always forget about AN as a potential high-sensitivity choice. You'd think they'd be everywhere in the UK, but I've only heard them at Axpona. Very curious.
@yotacowboy you are so lucky to be local to these, congrats! I saw them pop up on my hifishark notifications this morning and was drooling, glad they are going to someone from SBAF.
Whew! I know this is going to sound kind of crazy, but I almost teared up a little when I saw them and realized they were going to be mine. 20 years ago, I sat in the "big" AN room at Deja Vu Audio and lost my mind. But I never, ever thought I'd be able to afford any of that gear.
Vin at Deja Vu was kind enough to let me (a broke college grad) sit for hours listening in that room, over many visits. Eventually I tracked down a pair of one of the cheaper AN speakers, and those satiated me for a while.
I knew when I saw the ad for these on USAM, I'd never get a chance like this again, so I just had to do it. Will post pics once I get some stands for them. or maybe just some pics of them not in situ?
