First, we have been to numerous medical appointments to ascertain risk of cancer recurrence to which the current opinion after many rule-outs is my wife likely has benign cysts. She will receive further diagnostics to track any changes.
Second, holiday seasons are complicated for blended families. In our case visiting family was stretched over seven days. My wife loves to prepare holiday meals but would be exhausted after a few hours on her feet from her limb weakness after many months recovering from ankle and foot issues.
A persistent cough was treated with a shotgun approach. Multiple medications targeting GERD and lung infections. We have been sleep deprived from hours of continuous coughing.
During the cold spell we simply hibernated. 16 hrs of sleep each day. Sounds great. But it was in 2 to 3 hour increments. A few hours asleep with an hour or 90 minutes awake. Just enough to tend to basic necessities and taking care of our furry companions. Result of the coughing spells.
There have been other illnesses which are rhinovirus or norovirus related among the family. Again, nothing serious. But the sheer number of issues in aggregate over a short span of time has been overwhelming. We think we may be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, hoping it isn’t an oncoming freight express.
Very much appreciate all the concerns and well wishes. Hope to resume more participation when this all blows over. Those brief periods of discretionary time have enjoyed Spring3, MJ3 and HD800-JAR listening session, total passive entertainment to great music.
Please take a break from this place. We are here for you if needed but you and your family are most important. Listen to some music if it suits you and heal. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Sending love to you and your family, brother! If you guys need anything, even just a DoorDash meal or two while you’re navigating everything, hit me up.
