Having seen the charts, I think the Simgot house sound leans analytical and hence chasers of detail would follow them. Those are not experienced listeners if natural is your jam.
Dissenting opinions are fun. I want to know why the thing that worked for persons and a and b did not work for x and y and triangulate against my own tastes. Saves over-spending on curiosities.
The EM6L charts I’m seeing look worse than Harman’s, both in the bass and in the upper mids. Does anyone know why Crin likes what he likes? His FR “grades” aren’t particularly consistent with his target curve (or anything else). And where is he from? I can’t place the accent.
@Claritas He's from Singapore and a few years ago lived in Australia as a student. His tastes typically favour a deep bass boost combined with a pronounced mid-range. Not harmon though. Dude focuses on overall balance. Does not like dark-mid range tilt. Definitely does not grade against his curve. I think it's just a reference for comparison.
