I am very jealous! It's upsetting to think of the 2 channel system I could afford to put together but just can't due to living arrangements.

I got lucky in two ways, one is that my wife supports my audio addiction and the other is that my new house has a bonus room that has become my office and will also be my listening room.

Welcome to the club! That feel when I'm probably moving to a one bedroom apartment next year and will be losing my dedicated listening room :(

Honestly, I prefer a couple of cheap 5" nearfeilds and a cheap 10" sub fed by a 4490 M2U/Sys over my HD600/Vali 2. Sounds really great in my maybe 12x14 bedroom. Plankton/detail be damned, the soundstage, impact, dynamics, and excitement factor are far superior to my ears. It's the difference between simply hearing and actually feeling.

Ever since I got my speakers hooked up Saturday evening after the meet I've only listened to the headphones when I have too...
