Mani, Mani 2, Cambridge Duo, Rega (Mk5 and the built-in in the Brio), McIntosh (the built in the MA252, which is super quiet). I’ve heard others but not in my system, so not quite fair (but I like my rig better).

I am sure a good tube phono would be awesome, but also cost 2x more at least. The Skoll also has a Left channel noise issue - I am working on that, stay tuned.

All of them. Switcher noise because the input is too close to the power input. It is very low, but it is there.

It really sucks they use a shitty switcher I might have to pass. All my gear has no switching power supplies except for liquid platinum amp.

There is no switcher in Skoll. It's a linear power supply. Including the wall-wart.

No phono, bro

I’m fairly intolerant to noise (as in, I get really close to my speakers when I test gear — I get to 70% output of the 100W amp I use just to hear the noise floor of the phono with no input). That’s effing quiet. And I don’t hear channel imbalance or uneven noise. Magic unit? Is it the black paint? :)

@schiit There is still power supply noise like crazy on the left channel.
