I have the Val2 and HD650. I would say get a used D/S Bifrost and upgrade it later. I would take the D/S Bifrost variants over the Modi multibit personally.

True bifrost upgrades are an awesome and overlooked feature. Unless you plan on buying a Gungnir Multibit or Yggdrasil it might be a good investment to go the bifrost upgrade path.

Ok. Ill just keep my eye out for a nice used bitfrost, and hope I can find a black one.

Modi Multibit>Val2>hd650 is a great combo that I enjoyed for awhile. I agree with the others that a Bifrost could be a better investment unless you plan on getting Gungnir Multibit later down the road. Schiit gear holds it's value either way though.

Bifrost looks nicer stacked with the Valhalla anyway. Bifrost 4490 might be worth a listen with the HD650. I thought it sounded a little bit brighter than the multibit, which could pair well.
