    In the same boat! lcd2c arrived today, but haven't had a chance to listen. If I don't like them... I'll go for the clears. I can let you try them if you would like.

    Depends on what you're looking for. LCD-2C is fun/creamy, would imagine the Clear will let you hear more details.

    I don't know how long you can wait, but if you can wait until after January 3rd, you could compare it with my PMx2 (it does have the velour pads, but Alex said that they were the most recent tuning and just a matter of preference with the leather padded versions).

    #TeamDynamic. Haven't heard the PMx2 in a while, and never on my own setup. Looking forward to hearing the LCD-2C loaner when it comes around. I ordered a Clear for myself.

    I am going to try to make it to Audio 46 tomorrow to see if I can demo the Clear - which is listed as in stock. They carry the LCD2classic but don't seem to have it in yet.
