I was thinking of the SRX mk3 - if the only stat amp i had wasn't lying in pieces, it would have been no contest - I remember modding one and it sounded absolutely incredible - somewhat like the small driver orthos. think YH3 or T10

OMG, the YH3. I had a pair around here somewhere, havent thought about them in years. No idea where they are.

Speaking of orthos, who's ever heard this one: Bang & Olufsen U70. It has a freaky "Ear Control" that essentially lets you pivot the top any way you want in the frame.
