1.5mm is correct, thank you!
CORK MOD MEASUREMENTS*
*Take with a grain of salt
So I got around to making some more of these as I was curious to see what they were doing. I did stock measurements in between to confirm my placements were giving consistent results.
First off, the stock measurement:
Next up, the Anax 1.0 template Cork Mod:
Anax 2.0 Template Cork: (Neutral Ring)
1.0 Template, Trap Only:
1.0 Template, Ring Only:
I didn't really have much time to listen as I was in a hurry so no subjective impressions.
Also a more exaggerated Trap Only FR as it seemed to have the most positive effect
I emailed you a few days ago, OJ, but not sure if you're still offering to post these out?
When I briefly had the HD800, I found the larger ring, the template where it starts to cover the silver mesh, made the upper-mid dip even worse on my measurement setup. YMMV, may be specific to my setup.
My ears hear the exact same thing. This is why I prefer the Anax 1.0 cutout and then going right within the black lines so it sits thinly on top of the metal and leaves the mesh alone on either side.
Not enough interest to do another run for now
I would be interested as well, if there's another run someday.
They sell cork sheets at hardware stores.
I saw a few at Osh & Home Depot for around $5.00 I think.
Enough people have asked for me to get another run of this going. Same process applies, email me your info according to guidelines.
If you have emailed me in the past few months I will send confirmation to include you on this run, otherwise send me another email.
1st post updated. Also bump for those still interested. I'll be sending out on Monday
Might be a longshot, but any chance you're still accepting orders?
So is this still available?
cork mod is real good.
interested in this mod please let me know thanks
I'm interested as well.
Can you add me as well?
Guys, unfortunately, I have no interest in doing these anymore.
I'd rather build people speaker kits for beer money.
