    The saddest part is that a lot of people in Asia (rich men from China/HK) are going to buy these and make Fang even richer.

    I was talking to the Woo Audio rep at The Show 2015, and he told us that they basically get calls all the time from wealthy Hong Kong businessmen. Their conversation basically goes like this:


    WooAudio: Hi, what product are you interested in?

    Rich man: Whatever your most expensive product is.

    WooAudio: You mean the WA234...?

    Rich man: Whatever your most expensive product, I want it.

    WooAudio: Do you have any questio---

    Rich man: ---most expensive, I don't care about it.

    WooAudio: ...


    So yeah, Fang won't have a problem selling these at all.

    That's what I was thinking. Release this at $45k so the rich HK businessmen can buy it up, then six months from now release the same thing with some lower grade construction materials (and by that I mean wood instead of plutonium), and sell it to everyone who will really use it for $1,000 (although $500 would be even better!).

    lol How is it a stupid decision for pricing? You're obviously not the target market.

    Sennheiser basically showed Fang that the market is willing to support something around the price level.

    It sucks that they're playing chicken with these bullshit prices, but it's probably not something you would buy anyways. So move on.
