SOLD: LFF Paradox Slant

As new custom Slants I received from Luis about 2 months ago.

They have dual mini-XLR connectors and the cups are painted black with silver flecks. They come in a drawstring pouch, along with spare pair of Luis's pads.

The total cost to me was USD$1020, with a 5 month wait.

USD$700 USD$650 (including shipping) for Friends.

I can also include a Cablepro Freedom XLR cable for an additional USD$100 (which retails for USD$230). f**k it, cable is free.

This hurts, but recent events necessitate that I sell some more gear...

 

A real shame you have to sell them. I consider the slants as a gift that keeps on giving and there are many people who can vouch for their greatness.

Buy this man's Slants. I would if I could. "the one that got away" for me. Most neutral and comfy closed headphone you're going to find.

 

I need the slants like I need a hole inmy head but damn if it isn't still tempting. My favorite closed backs by far.

Technicalities be damned, the tonality of Slants is so f'ing perfect. As if losing $4500 worth of gear isn't bad enough, a little piece of me is going to die when I part ways with these headphones...

 

Hope things turn around with your lost gear. I have unexpected medical bills that need to be paid or I would be all over these.

What makes these custom? Could you add some photos? Is there a 1/4" terminated cable?

Custom paint job, most likely. the "Starving Student" is just black. Really good finishes on Luis's stuff.

 

Thanks for the interest people. My head is kind of spinning at the moment so I am actually going to put this sale on hold for now so I can slow down a bit, take stock and figure out the best way to move forward from here.
