I got to listen to a pair of these when I was a teenager. I don't remember the rest of the system. Source would have been LP because it was pre-CD. I don't even remember the music, it was the store's choice. I remember the dynamics reminded me of reality. That made an big impression on me.

Edit: I just noticed that Walmart is selling Klipschorn. No kidding.

hehe I like that those speakers are from the time when speakers tried to camouflage themselves by looking like normal wooden furniture with no visible cones. This is kind of like.. non-nude speaker porn.

I saw Walmart.com come up in a google search on Klipschorn and clicked on it. I was flabbergasted, but I just looked at the page a couple of seconds. I didn't realize that Walmart even had 3rd party sellers until you pointed that out @Cspirou .

It all makes sense now.
