I want a Switch so badly and even ordered one, but I cancelled my order to buy a plunge router so I could build speakers. I look forward to the day that I don't have to choose. I will have to make do with PC games for now.

I just finished my Zelda: BoTW playthrough on Switch a couple days ago. Apart from the old Mario games I used to play on my friend's SNES I had not touched a Nintendo console since. Was positively surprised by the experience. It's a damn good game.

The older I get the more I appreciate nintendo. The Wii U and now the Switch just have an excellent library for me and my needs.

I enjoy Nintendo systems for social gaming a lot more, we've played the crap out of Mario Kart Deluxe 8 with friends on the Switch lately, but for my "me time" I still am 100% loyal to PC.

Me time doesn't exist when you have two small kids. I've been primarily a PC gamer for 3 decades now. I strongly prefer spending some time playing Mario 3D world or captain toad or puyo puyo Tetris or Lego City Undercover to most other choices if I am playing videogames.

I picked up a switch last weekend, but haven't actually played anything yet. I got Zelda, but I'm really disinterested. Maybe Street Fighter will be fun.

I haven't had a Nintendo system since game cube and I'm late to the party with a Wii U this last Christmas. I have to say I have an absolute blast playing with my 5 year old son. Lots of fun family gaming! Maybe a switch for Christmas this year, but he's very content with the Wii U and there are many games we haven't tried yet.

We've had fun playing games on the PS4 and XBone, but there's something very "magical" with the Nintendo games for a youngster.
    Good stuff for sure!

It's only a good system if you actually enjoy having fun. You should consider returning it and building a new home, Eeyore.

Where can I get a house for $299 USD outside of Detroit?

I really only like fighting games and a couple of MMORPGs. I got the switch because Best Buy had it in stock, and I figured it was like catching a unicorn.

If they had a Tekken or Marvel vs Capcom game, I'd be into it. But those are better with friends, and I legitimately have none left.

Started playing FC4 after the FC5 announcement. It's a damn fun game, repetitive but tons of fun regardless. Though I do hope that they change the formula a bit for FC5. But it's Ubi so I won't be holding my breath..

I somehow spent the first day with a Switch playing that demo only lmao. I still think playing Tetris against a Puyo opponent is kinda broken due to how you can send a garbage line with a single Puyo group, but only can do that with a full Tetris, but it's so addictive aahh.

Breath of the Wild is insanely good by the way. I could gush about it but I don't think I've got much to say that hasn't been mentioned by every reviewer on the planet.

That's monthly rent for an okay apartment in Warsaw, does that count??

You should look up videos of top puyo vs top Tetris players. Tetris really always has the upper hand in online play when you get good at both. I'm probably terrible at both but it's still fun :)

You do drop garbage with multiple successive single lines in Tetris. It stacks like crazy!

Ordered a ps4 pro bundle with horizon zero dawn and extra controller. The list of ps4 only games i wanted to play just got too big now....

And my brother has a bunch of games i can borrow, also he has an account he can link or something with even more games. Looks like i'm set gaming wise for the foreseeable future :)

Do we have any Baldur's gate fans? I'd be keen to do a party run through of II again.

I haven't been active on SBAF much lately, but I hope everyone's doing well! I've been playing NieR Automata and Trails in the Sky the 3rd, along with Osu on weekends. I've also started streaming on Twitch if anyone's interested in watching me play RPGs! My channel is twitch.tv/thegunner100.

    My whole life I thought I was good at Tetris, and the AI still clowns on me most of the time, it's a huge hit to my self-worth. ;-;

Kinda! I mean, I wouldn't consider myself a Baldur's Gate fan, because over the years I kinda either grew out of Infinity Engine games or decided that they're too tedious to play through again. The Enhanced Editions didn't help with that feeling, sadly, so I fell out of love with them as games. But I've spent those years tinkering with the engine and basically gained some kinda enlightened status on the inner workings of it, so I've got that going on for me at least.

I used to play Baldur's Gate especially SoA, but after playing Neverwinter Nights once I sort of stopped playing games in that genre. Just somehow didn't appeal that much to me anymore. :(

I played some NWN and some NWN2 but that marked the end of it for me too. BG1&2 + expansions and planescape torment were the end of it for me and I started with games like Might and Magic and Ultima.

How would you say that Witcher 3 was generally received in Japan? Do people like it and play it? Sometimes I feel like the Japanese market mostly like Japanese games but I could be wrong. Thanks.
