Though Tyll claims that they have been upping their SQ game in their most recent products. Haven't sampled any of the latest myself but I didn't personally feel that the "Soundtrue" product sounded true when I sampled it.
As far as their portable speakers go, hell f'ing no. We had a Soundtouch system, which at best sounded fairly powerful for its size, although overly mid-focused and entirely unsophisticated. The amp in it died after around 2 years, so we got the new rev of Soundtouch. It sounds even worse than the original... Underpowered and mushy mud. No bass, no treble.
